We had a wonderful reading and discussion among the writers at our most recent Fall Seasonal Poetry Circle last weekend. What came out of that discussion was an interest in meeting monthly for a writing workshop, so that we can continue sharing work, discussing ideas and getting feedback, and lending one another support and inspiration. We’re thinking of keeping the workshop to interested writers only, and reserving the Seasonal Poetry Circles for readings that are open to the public.
There is now also a Florence Seasonal Poetry Facebook Group! This will allow people to share online, post updates or announcements, and keep track of upcoming in-person gatherings.
Currently, there is a poll open on the Facebook Group, to determine what day and time might work best for a monthly writing workshop meet up. We encourage you to join and cast your vote today!
