Join us this coming Friday at the Studio, starting at 5pm, for a very special event to help you tap into the power of the upcoming Eclipse event!

$15-25 sliding scale suggested offering, no one turned away for lack of funds. But seating is limited, so pre-registration is recommended!

Eclipses are times of rebirth, transformation, fulfillment of personal and planetary destinies, and may sometimes involve dramatic shifts in the "status quo". They have been recognized since ancient times as events of magic and wonder.

This October's annular Solar Eclipse (in which the moon will block light from the sun) is set to be spectacular in that there will be a "ring of fire" as the moon will be slightly smaller in diameter.

Did you know, we will see this event first on the W Coast ahead of the whole rest of the U.S., and Florence will be one of the few places with 100% visibility!

Astrologically, this Eclipse is in Libra, and involves a Libra (balance, harmony in relationships) and Aries (new ideas, adventures). This will especially affect those who have either as their Rising Sign!

Schedule of events is as follows:

5pm: Meet and greet with guest artist, Janelle Boatright from Ashland, OR. She's new to our Art and Healing Artist gallery, and will have additional work on hand to view and shop. Open to the general public.

6pm: Ceremony and a special creative mini workshop and guided discussion to help prepare guests for Saturday's upcoming Eclipse event. Pre register here, or when you arrive.

We will focus on getting grounded and centered, releasing attachments to old people/places/situations that are no longer working, calling in a vision of what we may encounter in the coming months, and work on setting intentions and/or goals.

Janelle Boatright is an Oregon-based adventure seeker and multi-media artist, specializing in photography. Her work captures the world's natural beauty, creating captivating, otherworldly images.

She has a rich history of developing and hosting creative spaces for a variety of expressive arts. She currently resides in Ashland, Oregon.

Serena Appel, LPC has a background in fine and performing arts and creative writing. She holds a degree in Art Therapy/Counseling from Marylhurst University, Oregon and has been practicing in both community mental health and private practice for a number of years. Serene Abundance Studio is Her offering of creative community and culture for the Central Coast region.
